About S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Outreach

 S.E.R.V.E. operates as a nonprofit 501c3 organization with a charitable mission, extending yearly membership to ALL homeschooling families. The annual membership fee ($40.00) is allocated to furnish resources necessary for facilitating service projects. Our aim is to guide the hearts of our children, leading by example as we actively contribute to positive change in the world. We are continuously seeking individuals who share our values and aspire to collaborate in community service endeavors. Our emphasis is on fostering mutual support along the homeschooling journey, leaving aside any differences when within this organization, and uniting as a cohesive force to address the needs of our community.

       We firmly believe in the capacity of every individual to make a meaningful impact on the world, starting with compassionate actions and assistance to those in need. We seek to establish connections within our community, gaining insights into various careers and offering assistance to those willing to share their expertise. Our dedication to service and giving back remains unwavering.

 

      Within our organization, we cultivate an environment of encouragement and support for all homeschooling families. SERVE Homeschool Outreach consistently identifies opportunities to enhance our community ( & surrounding communities), while also extending our support to the homeschooling network. We aid parents in discovering diverse avenues for community service, as well as providing enriching educational experiences, an array of outings, park days, PE classes for the spring and fall semesters, events to distribute curriculum and educational materials, graduation ceremonies, and much more. Our commitment lies in strengthening existing relationships and forging new ones with parents, children, and the broader community. Whenever we encounter a need, we are dedicated to making a positive difference to the best of our abilities. Throughout the entire year, our organization provides a diverse range of activities. These include monthly service projects, Physical Education (PE) sessions, graduation ceremonies, family camping trip, curriculum giveaways, Parent book club gatherings, enriching field trips, various classes, engaging teen events, refreshing park days, enjoyable moms' nights out,SERVE Mom's Teacher Appreaciation Luncheon, science and art classes, clubs for students, SERVE Teen Ball (formal), Teen dances, parental support,SERVE mom's beach trip,  student craft fair, science fair and an abundance of additional offerings!

     We provide resources to our members and extend our services to the entire homeschooling community as a cohesive entity. SERVE firmly upholds the belief in the unity of homeschoolers throughout our educational journey, and we maintain a welcoming relationship with all homeschool groups. Our progress is rooted in our collective strength and unity.

Our Mission

S.E.R.V.E. is about helping shepherd the hearts of our children to become selfless in a selfish material world ! Our organization is designed to encourage homeschoolers to reach out, volunteer and gain education from experiences along the way. We want to empower others to be a light to all communities.

Our Vision

      To create unity with one another in serving our community while leading our children to have a heart that focuses on the needs of others, strengthening relationships  and gaining education along the way. 

 Student Code of Conduct

At S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool, we believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
for all students. Our code of conduct outlines the expectations and values that guide our
interactions and behavior during our programs.

1. Respect Others: Treat all S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Leadership, students, educators, and
field trip coordinators with kindness, empathy, and respect. Listen attentively when others
are speaking, and avoid interrupting or talking over them. Be mindful of personal space
and boundaries, and refrain from any form of bullying, teasing, or harassment. Bullying or violence 
will NOT be tolerated.

2. Follow Instructions: Listen carefully to instructions provided by S.E.R.V.E. leadership
and educators, and follow them promptly and respectfully. If you have any questions or
concerns, do not hesitate to ask for clarification or assistance.

3. Participate Positively: Engage actively in classroom discussions, group activities, 
service projects, outreaches, field trips, and learning exercises. Contribute your ideas,
share your thoughts, and collaborate with your peers in a constructive and positive
manner. Be supportive of others contributions and efforts, and celebrate each others
successes.

4. Be Responsible: Take ownership of your actions and choices, and accept the
consequences of your behavior. Respect classroom materials, equipment, and facilities,
handling them with care and responsibility. Clean up after yourself and help maintain a
clean and orderly learning environment.

5. Be Honest and Fair: Always be truthful and honest in your interactions. Avoid cheating,
lying, or dishonest behavior, and uphold the principles of integrity and fairness in all
aspects of your academic and social life.

6. Use Technology Responsibly: Use electronic devices and technology in a responsible
and appropriate manner. Respect copyright laws and intellectual property rights, and use
technology for educational purposes only. Refrain from accessing inappropriate content
or engaging in cyberbullying or online harassment.

7. Respect Diversity: Embrace and celebrate diversity within our community, including
differences in culture, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, and abilities. Be open-minded,
kind, and accepting of others perspectives and backgrounds, and refrain from making
derogatory or discriminatory remarks or jokes.

8. Seek Help When Needed: If you encounter any challenges, difficulties, or concerns
during our programs, reach out to S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Leadership or trusted adults
for assistance and support. We are here to help you succeed and thrive, and are committed
to providing the resources and assistance you need.

By adhering to these principles and values, we can create a positive and inclusive learning
environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. Thank you for your

9. No weapons at SERVE Homeschool events, activities or outreaches: We prioritize the safety of the organization as a whole . Weapons have no place at SERVE events. 


If any of these guidelines are broken:
1. Contact with Parent(s): We will contact the parent(s) to discuss what took place and
address the situation as well as ways to resolve the matter.

2. Warning Issued: A warning will be issued, highlighting the behavior that needs
improvement and the consequences of further violations.

3. Termination of Membership: If the behavior persists despite warnings and attempts to
address it, termination of membership may be necessary to maintain a peaceful and
pleasant environment for all members of our community.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels valued, respected, and supported in our
homeschool community. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to upholding these
guidelines at S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Outreach.

Conflict Resolution

   In the event of a conflict, we encourage you to handle it in accordance below.

1. Begin by approaching the individual involved and make an effort to resolve the issue through direct communication, not through text messages since things can be miscommunicated by using texting.

2. If a resolution cannot be reached through personal dialogue, please seek assistance from the leadership of S.E.R.V.E.

3. If a member approaches you with a grievance against another member, kindly encourage your fellow member to follow this conflict resolution process and address the matter directly with the individual causing the concern.

    Our primary aim is to cultivate a peaceful and welcoming environment for all our members. We acknowledge that conflicts may occasionally arise and, in such instances, we strongly encourage individuals to engage in open conversations to resolve any issues that may emerge.

Turning Interest into Action

Here at S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Outreach*, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2021, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Nonprofit Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool Outreach* emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
